Directing Master Class with Richard Eyre & Notes on a Scandal

In association with the recent release of Notes on a Scandal, Cinéformation presented an exclusive Directing Master Class with Richard Eyre, the films’ acclaimed Director.

In this directing Master Class, Richard gave an insight into what it takes to become a leading British director, and discussed his directing processes and fundamentals, which he highlighted using clips from Notes on a Scandal as well as from his previous work.

Currently a Patron of Cinéformation, Richard is also a prominent theatre director and was formerly Artistic Director of The National Theatre. As well as hugely successful theatre productions including his current play, The Reporter, Richard’s critically acclaimed film work includes directing Stage Beauty and the 2002 BAFTA nominated feature, Iris (also starring Judi Dench).

Following the Master Class Richard introduced introduce the 2030hrs screening of Notes on a Scandal, his acclaimed latest feature.
